Think about it. Believe whatever you want, but we have so mixed up the idea of church and state and marriage and civil unions that we can’t separate them. The name of a thing does matter to many people. But marriage (in our society) came about through the church, and now government is regulating it. Some churches would marry a gay couple. But they then have to apply for a civil union. The state will marry you with one witness and you’re a married couple. Where is the separation of church and state again?
And that’s not even touching on the “sanctity” of marriage.

[Melody’s Questions]
1.What would be your perfect vacation? Where would you love to go?
I want to go everywhere~ But especially somewhere European since I’ve spent the most time in Asia. (Even if I haven’t seen as much of it as I would like.)
2.What drama (Korean, Japanese, American, whatever) couple best describes the type of relationship you’d like to have with your significant other? Why?
I have absolutely no idea. Maybe Peter and Elizabeth Burke? They have a great relationship that isn’t bothered by trivial things.
3.Your favorite ice-cream flavor?
I don’t like ice cream that much, but I do have spells when I suddenly want some. My favorite would probably be cookies and cream.
How many pillows do you normally sleep with?
That depends so much on the night. But I have one full size, one small one, and a stuffed cat I almost always sleep with.
4.Mountain or seaside, where would you want to have your vacation home?
Mountains. The seaside would be nice, but I think I would really love to hike around the mountains. I like to walk. ^^
5.What’s your this is what I play when I’m depressed and just want to drown in sadness song?
Ehhh. I don’t think I have one. I have a playlist that I might listen to, but it all depends on what I’m sad about.
5.Favorite quote?
6.What dog breed best describes your personality?
From my sister, “A hound. Because they don’t give up.” - And she doesn’t mean this in a nice, inspiring way.
7.Your favorite piece of clothing that you like seeing your bias wear.
Probably jeans and a t-shirt. Something casual. A simple, well-fitted suit is always nice too.
8.One song you’d want your bias to sing to you.
Happy Birthday, because that would mean he was there.
9.Why do you even follow me?!? T_T sorry~ running out of question ideas How can I make your Tumblr experience more enjoyable?
You’re my best friend, I don’t have much choice. ;) I don’t really have anything~

To explain- Last night, I had this horrible dream and then woke up quite disturbed. It took me a while to get back to sleep and for some reason while I was laying there, I started drafting…
First up in my thoughts was that it’s completely unfair that actors have to be real people. I mean, isn’t it enough that book characters aren’t? At least with them I know they aren’t real. But then, you watch a movie, tv show, or whatever and you like the character. And that character is played by a real person. So you check out that person and they seem rather awesome as well. However, while they may be a real person, one you could actually meet and make friends with, you will likely never meet them for more than a fraction of a second. It’s just unfair.
That leads to my midnight (or 4am) ruminations. I have written numerous cover letters recently. And when you think of how unfair it is not to be able to meet these real people, then of course you think of how to get around that. So my sudden revelation is to think of a cover letter to convince someone in my latest series (Merlin) to let me work there. As an assistant to an assistant who might one day run day into an actor (probably violently).
To anyone reading, feel free to reblog and get this noticed by someone who could get me a job. I’m not kidding, the cats are in danger. Also, if my name is not attached somehow, I will hunt you down and find you. My name really is Morgan. So yes, I do get to hear them say my name somewhat often. And yes, I do find it amusing. :) Also, check my tags. I put a lot of work into those.
Finally some sense on this issue. And research that would have helped my Hist4000 thesis.
You know, I do think that tax rates need to be adjusted. But I also think tax breaks should be too. I worked with people who got so much back in taxes. And I saw how they spent it just as soon as they got it. I know they were struggling paycheck to paycheck, but what they really needed were some lessons on saving and how to spend wisely. Those would have helped more than anything.
And also, I don’t mind paying taxes. If I just thought they were actually doing something.
